What better way toward off the oncoming fallthan with a good dose of sunshine?
That’s exactly what my wife and I said when we decided we had to go to Dubai.
The United Arab Emirates, in fact, after having been on the English red list for several months, were taken off the red list at the end of the summer, allowing vaccinated English travelers access without quarantine upon return.
Transportation
For transportation, we chose to use Emirates: I had a good stock of miles expiring at the end of September 2021, whichI was able to supplement with some American Express Membership Rewards transferred from my account.
So it will be direct flights in Business, since the availability of First in miles was zero.
Hotels
As for the hotel, I had initially booked at the JW Marriott Marquis, a huge hotel located south of Downtown Dubai. Nevertheless, after the recent announcement of the opening of the St. Regis DowntownI decided to change location, especially because my wife loves this brand.
Routes and attractions
For our stay, we decided to take it easy but still make a detour to Abu Dhabi.
