After two hours working in the lounge, I make my way to the gate for my flight to Paris.
As a reminder, here is the itinerary followed:
Boarding
Boarding takes place in the main building of terminal 5, gate A.
The aircraft is at the gate, and even if the priorities are respected, it’s difficult to make your way through, as there is no priority queue as such, allowing you to board at any time. Nevertheless, I manage to find my way to board in priority.
Cabin and welcome
The cabin is typical of renovated British Airways medium-haul aircraft, with the middle seat neutralized in Business Class.
The welcome will be very cordial.
Service and catering
A few minutes after takeoff, a meal will be served.
I’ll have a coronation chicken, which will prove succulent. The steward gave me 2 mignonettes of Nicolas Feuillate to tide me over until landing. Perfect!
Arrival and disembarkation
We’ll arrive on time at terminal 2A of Paris Charles-de-Gaulle… But we’ll have to wait a good 15 minutes because of an abandoned parcel… What a drag!
Bottom line
An excellent flight on British Airways… I don’t miss Air France at all!
