Korean Air’s safety instructions with a K-Pop background

For its new safety instructions, Korean Air invited several K-Pop (Korean Pop) stars to perform a song composed exclusively for the airline and recently released as a single.

It’s clean, modern and tasteful as long as you like this kind of music…but having been in South Korea a bit this year, I find that they chose a rather international and exportable tone which is not always the case with the styles that are popular in Korea or even in Asia in general. A bit like if Air France made its instructions with a Boys Band (so 90s!).

In short, it will please the aficionados of the genre and the “locals” but it is listenable…and we have seen worse.
