Moxy Milan Linate: Excellent in every way

As part of a business trip to Milan, I stayed at the Moxy at Milan Linate airport.

A look back at this short but perfect stay.

Booking

I made the reservation for 3 nights a few weeks before my arrival. I chose this Marriott hotel primarily for its location, as my client is located in the southern suburbs of the city.

For 90€ per night, I have a reservation with breakfast included.

Arrival

Prior to my arrival, I check in two days before on the Marriott Bonvoy app, indicating an arrival time of 10:45 am.

As I was about to board the plane to Milan, I received a notification that my room was ready, perfect!

After a short Uber ride from the airport, I arrive at the hotel shortly before 11am. I proceed with the quick check-in formalities and then go to my client site. I am welcomed as an Ambassador member and will choose the 10€ F&B credit per day as a welcome gift.

Room

I was upgraded to the highest room category available, which was a Moxy Family Sleeper, equivalent to a suite.

My room was located on the 5th and last floor of the property, in a corner and opposite the elevator. Then calm.

As for the rest… If you have seen our recent reports on Moxy, you will not be disoriented, because the suites are strictly identical.

In the entrance hall there is a large closet where you can unpack your things for the week. Opposite, a small transparent shelf serving as a desk, as well as a large sofa, a coffee table and a television set.

The bedroom is smaller, with a king size bed, two bedside tables and a television.

Finally, the bathroom is very large, as it is disabled accessible, but this time equipped with a shower stall and not a simple curtain.

To finish, a video tour:

Hotel facilities

The hotel is equipped with a fitness room that I would have the pleasure of visiting my first morning. It is small but pleasant and rather well equipped.

Catering

As in all Moxy’s, simple but efficient food is offered at the bar. I wouldn’t use it this time though.

On the other hand, I would have breakfast one of the mornings.

This one costs 12€ if it is not included in your room.

The offer is rather short and of average quality, especially the hot elements. But let’s face it, breakfast is not an essential meal for Italians.

Departure

The departure formalities were simplified because they were done through the Marriott Bonvoy application. I would receive my bill a few minutes later.

Bottom line

An excellent stay, without any false note. And the staff is adorable.
