After my flight from Brussels, I finish my trip in economy class with this flight to Paris, still on Lufthansa.
Connection circuit
As I said in the previous review, I join by bus the terminal B following the arrival on my flight.
It’s a double whammy, as Terminal B requires a long walk through Frankfurt airport before accessing the normal lounges and Schengen gates.
So I take the famous Frankfurt tunnel and its travelators to the A-gate area.
Lounge
The Senator lounge is located in the middle of Frankfurt’s Gate A complex.
That morning it was full as an egg, so you’ll pardon the lack of photos. But you can find the full report here.
I take a seat on a high table and make a quick tour of the catering…
As you can see, it’s classic Lufthansa, but very good and of good quality.I leave the lounge a few minutes before the theoretical boarding time of my flight to Paris.
Boarding
Boarding starts 5 minutes later than scheduled, and by families with babies and disabled persons. Then come the Gold Track passengers of which I am a part.
Priorities are respected, but Lufthansa boardings in Frankfurt and Munich are often a bit messy because they are not well marked.
Cabin and reception
A little cold reception at the gate. I go to the Economy cabin, I am in 06D, in the second row. The middle seat will remain empty once again.
Service and catering
A sandwich is offered, as well as a hot and cold drink service. A black coffee will do for me (surprisingly, no water offered in addition as it is customary on Lufthansa).
Arrival and disembarkation
The arrival will be on time in Paris, and the disembarkation in contact at the gate.
Bottom line
A rather average flight, with a crew of the same type.
