Back in 2006, Air France promised to make the sky the most beautiful place on earth with one of its inspiring advertising campaigns. An undeniable “touch”, a unique atmosphere…and at the time a bit of overpromise which in the end could be counterproductive. This campaign would have been better seen a little less than 10 years later with the introduction of the best cabins.
Anyway a commercial that we all liked to watch and listen to because we have to recognize that our national airline has a certain talent for the choice of its commercial music or its cabin playlist.
On the other hand, there’s a question I’ve always asked myself about this ad and to which I’ll surely never have the answer (if a former Air France com’ guy passes by this blog his comment is welcome).
When you entrust the soundtrack of your ad to an (excellent) band called AsWeFall :
– No one noticed the point?
– It was discussed and they kept it as a wink (and there it was really daring)?
