Aer Lingus takes another turn and gets a new visual identity

25 years after the last refresh,Aer Lingus has chosen today to present a new visual identity, accompanied by a new, rather elegant livery:

The pace of deployment of this new livery will be very slow, as the airline plans to complete its rollout in 2021.

More globally, the entire visual identity will be reviewed:

Aer Lingus’ strategy, however, is less clear… If Etihad dropped its stake 3 years ago, the airline had a rather low-cost positioning and had notably eliminated its business class in Europe.

The turnaround is therefore massive, since the airline announced in mid-December the reintroduction of a “real” business class with lie-flat seats in Europe!

A case to follow, especially in the context of its integration into IAG in a context of Brexit!
