Today’s itinerary

Check-in and ground experience

I tried to check in online for my flights to Copenhagen and Boston at the opening window, at around T-30. Unfortunately, the SAS system did not offer me this option and I had to wait for the departure of my feeder flight from Paris to complete this formality… Which failed. So I couldn’t get my boarding pass for Boston early.

Arriving in Oslo the day before, and before taking my Uber to the Moxy, I stopped by a check-in counter to try and solve the problem, which was solved in 2 minutes: my paper boarding pass was issued and I could download my Passbook cards afterwards.

I arrived at the airport 1h30 before the departure of my flight to Copenhagen. As I already had my paper boarding pass, I went straight to the Fast Track security checkpoint, which I cleared in just a few moments.

Location and welcome

The lounge is located in the international Schengen zone. Please note that another lounge, a domestic one, is accessible just after the security checkpoint. It doesn’t open until 30 minutes before the first domestic flight of the day, so it was closed at the time of my visit.

You have to clear customs (no immigration) and use the elevator to reach the lounge, located on the mezzanine level above the boarding gates.

The Gold lounge is a lounge within a lounge. The welcome is cordial, and I accessed the Business lounge by scanning my boarding pass once, then the Gold lounge by going to another gate in the Business lounge.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge is very nice. In Scandinavian tones, of course, but with plenty of lounging areas, open workspaces, phone booths, offices and catering areas.

The decoration is perfect.

Catering

At the time of my visit, it was the breakfast offer that was in place, a typical Norwegian continental breakfast but with good products. Special mention for the butter, which was a real treat.

Bottom line

An excellent lounge, perfect for an airport like Oslo, which offers mostly short waits.

Excellent

Un excellent salon, parfait pour un aéroport comme Oslo qui propose majoritairement des attentes courtes.
