Review : Lufthansa Economy – Frankfurt – Paris, Airbus A321NEO

Nearly 35 minutes after the initial boarding time, the boarding begins as we arrive at the gate from the Senator Lounge at Gates A.

Boarding

Priority boarding will be strictly enforced by passengers and reinforced by ground staff.

Our gate was a bit far from the lounge…
… And the corridors are so big!
Immediate boarding for Paris

We boarded the A321NEO in the priority lane, parked at the contact point, but just after the families and people with reduced mobility.

Cabin and reception

The welcome is rather cold and we discover this brand new cabin at Lufthansa. The NEK seats have been somewhat revamped to offer USB connectivity for in-flight charging of devices.

Surprisingly, the aircraft is not equipped with in-flight Wi-Fi even though it has just been delivered.

You always need a little power

The pitch is royal, especially in row 4, which is usually used for business class. I am in the middle seat and yet I feel very well.

The pitch is very good

Service and catering

We had been warned by SMS and e-mail that catering would be restricted on this flight due to a lack of staff. No worries, as we had a snack in the lounge and Kit Kat’s are distributed to all passengers in Economy class just before take-off.

After take-off, the service starts and I choose a beer. As usual with Lufthansa, it is served in a glass bottle and is of excellent quality.

A little Warsteiner for the road

Arrival and disembarkation

The landing and taxiing will be smooth, but with about 30 minutes delay.

The luggage will take a long time to arrive and an eternal gate lice is set up to prevent your access to the carpet at all costs…

Bottom line

A pleasant flight, despite the delay. I appreciate the attention in the service.
