HOP finally aligns its fare structure with AF… Until the death of HOP!

As we wrote a few days ago, Ben Smith, the new CEO of Air France-KLM has signed the death warrant of Joon.

The work of redesigning the product often involves its readability. However, commercially speaking, short-haul services were completely separate from long- and medium-haul services, with separate fare ranges.

Today, Air France announced that all its ranges would be harmonized on the following model in Economy class:

  • Light fare, no checked baggage, and not flexible,
  • Standard  fare, with 1 piece of luggage of 23kg and modifiable with a fee of 70 € + fare readjustment,
  • Flex farewith 1 piece of checked baggage weighing 23kg, which can be changed and refunded free of charge (although the fare will be readjusted),
  • “Abonné” fare (on short- and medium-haul flights) with 1 piece of checked baggage weighing 23kg, which can be modified and refunded free of charge and without fare adjustments.

A new step… before the disappearance of HOP as a brand?
