The Park Tower Knightsbridge. Excellent value for money

As part of a recent London trip with Bertrand, the other TravelGuy, we stayed at the Park Tower Knightsbridge, a hotel located in the eponymous district and member of the Starwood Luxury Collection, thus crediting in my faithful SPG program 🙂
We both used a Corporate rate that divided the price by three for about £190 a night, a bargain for a 5 star!
Due to the short time spent there, I did not use a Suite Night Award to guarantee an upgrade.

We arrived early in the morning at the hotel. The reception was warm and efficient, our rooms were ready immediately.
As an SPG Platinum member, I chose the breakfast as a benefit: excellent choice in my opinion, considering the price normally charged (£28, a scandal by the way).
Still as a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a Spectacular room, located on a higher floor and with slightly better services: more qualitative decoration essentially.

Not much to say about this hotel. The gym is large enough although the ceiling height could be higher and it lacks brightness.

Oh yes, the breakfast… Although it is of good quality, the service is absolutely deplorable, not very attentive. You have to ask for everything and the waiters are pouting. Can largely do better.
