Test the Singapore Airlines A350 business class on a European medium-haul flight!

Singapore Airlines is without doubt one of the two or three best airlines in the world, whatever the class of travel. Many dream of discovering the experience it offers, but not everyone has the opportunity or the means to fly to Singapore. Especially now.

That’s no problem! You can now fly Singapore Airlines on intra-European flights, and, to top it all off, on the latest-generation twin-aisle Airbus A350.

The Asian airline has just announced a “5th freedom” route (with the authorization to serve a European country from another European country) which will enable it to serve Rome via Copenhagen.

Rome-Copenhagen 3 times weekly by A350 on Singapore Airlines

Three times a week, an A350 will fly between Singapore and Copenhagen, then between Copenhagen and Rome (and back).

So you can book a Rome-Copenhagen or Copenhagen-Rome round trip, and benefit from the same service the airline offers on its medium-haul routes. To whet your appetite, take a look at what it looks like:

142 in eco, € 469 in business

And for what price? Rather low prices, especially in view of the airline’s standing, as we know that 5th freedom routes are generally discounted due to lack of occupancy in the second segment.

You’ll pay around €142 return in economy class and €469 in business.

In eco it’s a more than competitive rate. Of course, you have to pick up your flight in Rome, but the experience is well worth it.

In business, the prices are in line with the market, but a medium-haul aircraft in the business cabin of a long-haul aircraft is something that doesn’t exist, or only exists very occasionally, on the European market.

Our opinion

If you’re planning to visit Rome and Copenhagen this summer, or if you’re just an avgeek keen to discover the Singapore Airlines product, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
