Review : Lufthansa Business Class – Medium haul, Frankfurt – London, Airbus A320neo

Coming out of the lounge reviewed previously, I boarded in this cabin for this short flight between Frankfurt and London.

A queue that is not necessarily well managed
As usual, a blind gateway
In Frankfurt, the signage is of high quality

Cabin and configuration

The Business Cabin is composed of six rows, and given my late reservation, I am in the last row.

A correct pitch

I embark among the first ones and start watching a series.

Service and catering

The boarding ends on time, and we are quickly on our way to London. After takeoff, the service starts quickly, and even in the sixth row, I get served pretty quickly.

The service is very professional, the meal is served, and my drink choices are asked, confirming each time that I don’t want anything else.

White wine and sparkling water at discretion

The meal, as you can see in the picture below, is very comprehensive for a flight of this duration, the salad is very fresh, and its ingredients too.

A very fresh meal

It was accompanied by a yogurt with jam, and a chocolate bar which is certainly very good but very caloric.

Note that on Lufthansa, the drinks served in Business class and Economy class are the same on medium-haul flights. The white wine served, even if it is also served in economy class, is of very good quality.

Going back the other way, the crew clears the plates, and asks if we would like some more drinks. I don’t order coffee, having had my coffee in the lounge and on the previous flight.

Descent and disembarkation

The flight ends quietly, and the disembarkation is done by gateway and in the calm. Note that Lufthansa uses The Queens Terminal at London Heathrow, which has recently been renovated and is very user-friendly.

Immigration cleared in less than a minute, and I’m quickly on my way to catch the subway.

Journey to the London Underground

Bottom line

A simple service, a very attractive price, a professional crew and a catering up to par, what more could you ask for?
