Eventyr Lounge, Copenhagen Kastrup: Excellent and bright

Fresh off my flight from Oslo, and after a visit to the SAS Gold lounge in Copenhagen, I headed for the Eventyr lounge, a member of the Priority Pass network and located in the non-Schengen zone.

As a reminder, the route followed:

Today’s itinerary

Connection process

I disembarked on foot from my flight from Oslo at boarding pier A, at the far end of the airport.

The journey to the connecting area took a good ten minutes, and I made my first stop at the SAS lounge in the Schengen zone. I already reported my stay on the outbound itinerary.

After a few hours, I headed for the non-Schengen zone, where immigration clearance took only 3 minutes.

Location and welcome

The lounge is located at the beginning of boarding pier C. It’s clearly signposted just past passport control, and all you have to do is follow the signs. An elevator and stairs are available.

The welcome was excellent and I was admitted to the lounge after scanning my boarding pass and taking my PriorityPass membership into account.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge is obviously Scandinavian. Seating remains limited, and I am wondering how it can absorb the peaks when Emirates and Qatar Airways flights board.

The lounging and dining areas are varied. Showers are available for a fee of €6.

Catering

The food and beverage offer was good quality, with a well-stocked cold buffet and a few hot items that vary according to the time of day.

Alcoholic beverages were also good quality.

Bottom line

A very pleasant salon to which I’d be happy to return.
