Back to Barcelona for a weekend with friends, with a big delegation!

Booking
I booked this trip several weeks in advance. In Barcelona, that weekend, all my usual options like the W or Le Meridien were unaffordable… So I fall back on the Four Points Diagonal, which I know very well for having stayed there dozens of times… And will invite 4 other friends.
So I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, at 69 € per night, with my Corporate rate.
And strangely, I had never reported this hotel on TravelGuys! Nevertheless, being among friends, I will not take any pictures or videos, I hope you will forgive me.
Arrival
I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the afternoon, after 4 flights on Lufthansa… It was the good pre-COVID time! I had used the Sixt MyDriver app, so the driver was waiting for me at El-Prat airport when I arrived.
After 25 minutes of driving, I arrive at the hotel.
The formalities were quickly completed, and I was given an upgrade to an Executive room, on the top floor of the hotel, with a breathtaking view of the city.
I am also confirmed that my breakfast is included. I quickly run to my room to take a shower.
Room
As stated, my room was located on the 11th and top floor of the property.
The parquet floor gives style (I prefer it to old carpets). Immediately after the entrance is the bathroom on the right. It is equipped with a bidet, a toilet, a large basin and a shower.
Then, the room has a large desk, on which is embedded the minibar and placed the television.
The bed is quite comfortable, and the view magnificent.
Hotel facilities
The hotel is equipped with a fitness room, which I will not use this time.
Food options
The property has a full-service restaurant. I will only use the restaurant for breakfast service.
The buffet is quite extensive, but also very busy. It is sometimes difficult to find your way around, and the coffee machines are rather slow.
But the quality is rather average-plus, which for the low price is totally acceptable.
Departure
The departure formalities will be simple, and the invoice sent by e-mail.
Bottom line
Another excellent stay in this hotel, with a value for money that is hard to beat!
