Germania goes bankrupt, Ryanair announces losses!

Difficult day for low-cost airlines: While Germania, a German low-cost and charter airline, has just announced its judicial liquidation and the cessation of its operations, Ryanair presents for the first time since 2014 negative quarterly results, a sign of a real turnaround for the European low-cost market.

With the bankruptcy of Germania, the law of series continues, after Primera Air this fall… And the question of the transformation of leisure airlines into low-cost airlines is in question. Their cost model is very different, and so is the operation. Not an easy transformation.
