Review : Leonardo lounge, Milan Linate

On my way back from Milan after a stay at the Sheraton San Siro, I use Lufthansa which uses the Leonardo lounge in Linate.

Location of the lounge

The lounge is located airside, near the Alitalia lounge. It is accessible by stairs or elevator.

Not here for us today
All non SkyTeam airlines use this lounge

Lounge layout

The lounge is quite large. It is available to High Contribution passengers of all non-Skyteam airlines, as well as to Priority Pass passengers.

A coffee and a glass of water before the day’s agape

It is equipped with comfortable, high-quality Poltrona Frau leather chairs, and there is plenty of space to sit. At this very early hour (5:30 am), it is not very full and is therefore very pleasant.

A few stools face the passenger terminal
The design of the different spaces is very successful
Alone or with others, each in his own space

The buffet

The buffet is of very good quality. Much better than that of the neighboring Alitalia lounge, even though it is Italy’s flagship airline.

Even the allergic ones have their section

No hot dish, but excellent quality pastries.

The offer of excellent quality pastries, and some sandwiches
Some fruit and dairy products to complete the continental breakfast

The fruit juices are numerous.

The coffee machine (the only one) causes a large queue in the early morning!

Water is present in quantity, as well as multiple Italian beers
The wine offer is self-service and is already in place despite the (very) early hour
For those who like to drink coffee at 6 a.m.

Staff and service

The staff is present enough to feed the buffet at all times. No table service, but frequent clearing up.

Bottom line

A pleasant lounge, much more pleasant than its Italian neighbor. If you have Priority Pass, go for it!
