For my final lunch in Philadelphia, I was looking for a nice restaurant and stumbled upon a pizzeria located in the Comcast Center, one of the city’s most prestigious towers.
The concept
A simple concept—an Italian pizzeria with a straightforward menu featuring a selection of pizzas and a few antipasti.
The setting
The atmosphere is really pleasant, with well-thought-out décor, though it’s a bit lacking in natural light since all the restaurants in the tower are located in the basement.
The menu
The lunch menu is composed of antipasti and pizzas—fairly simple, but with a few unique combinations.
The meal and the dishes
For my meal, I had a Parma ham pizza (without salad), which was exceptional.
I paired it with a beer—nothing better to go with pizza!
The service
The service was excellent and attentive. The bill was brought to me promptly.
The atmosphere
The ambiance was quite calm, with about half a dozen tables occupied at lunchtime.
Bottom line
An excellent experience with top-quality pizza.
