Today’s itinerary

Check-in and ground experience

I checked in for my two flights to Boston via the American Airlines app the day before departure. Passbook boarding passes were issued, but the Same Day Confirmed feature didn’t work.

After a conversation with AA on X, no earlier flights were available and I kept my scheduled flights.

I left the hotel about 3 hours before the departure of my flight to Charlotte.

I arrived at terminal A of the airport just under 2h30 before my flight to Charlotte.

I used the CLEAR line at TSA checkpoint, which allowed me to cut the line and be airside in just a few minutes.

Location and welcome

The lounge is located near gates A25-A30 of the terminal used by American Airlines.

The welcome was courteous and cheerful, and I was admitted without a hitch after checking my eligibility.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge is in line with that of recent Admirals Clubs.

Although small in size, it has areas for relaxing, working and dining.

Catering

The food and beverage offer was fairly limited, but still good quality.

I took a few snacks and coffees to keep me awake.

Bottom line

A very good experience, and a lounge in which I worked for a good 2 hours.
