Air France has just released a video presenting the safety instructions on board. Totally in line withthe new visual and musical identity of the brand, it extends it to new territories to give it more coherence.
Personally speaking, if I was skeptical about the commercial, maybe a little too “leisure” oriented, I find these instructions rather successful. Some will judge the 100% feminine side a little daring or even risky…we’ll see the reactions.
Unlike many airlines that have gone very far in the “offbeat” side of the safety instructions they put online, Air France has been more conventional. And for good reason: it seems that these instructions are not, as is often the case in other cases, purely for marketing purposes, but are actually intended to be used in flight.
They include all the “legal mentions” that make them suitable for official use in terms of security. According to the blog “The Design Air” they were designed in partnership with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, which confirms that they are indeed “official” instructions.
And you, what do you think?
[Edit 14:50] A press release from the company confirms that these instructions will be issued on board starting in April. This is the future official video presentation of the safety instructions.
